Free to Play. Pay Only if You Want to Move Faster.
BREACH // NOIR is free to play, fully and indefinitely — the core OSINT training and password security awareness game costs nothing, and nothing is ever locked behind a paywall. What's optional is speed: a small daily allowance of Intel Credits is enough to complete cases at a normal pace forever, and purchased credit packages exist only for players or teams who want to move through more content, faster, in a single sitting.

How Intel Credits Work
Every account has two separate credit pools, and understanding the difference is the whole pricing story. Daily Credits refill automatically once every day up to your account's daily capacity — they're free, and any amount left unused simply resets rather than carrying forward. Purchased Credits, bought once through a credit package, never expire and are never touched by the daily reset — they sit in your account as a permanent balance until you actually spend them, stacking on top of whatever your daily allowance already gives you.
In practice this means a purchase is never wasted: buy a package today, and those credits are still there next week if you haven't used them, unaffected by however many daily resets happen in between. Referral rewards work the same permanent way — inviting others to play can permanently raise your daily capacity itself, on top of anything you've purchased.
What Credits Are Spent On
Credits are spent inside investigations — unlocking an Intel Source, requesting a hint, or submitting a password guess each cost a small amount, set per case by difficulty. That's the entire economy: there's no separate subscription tier, no feature gate, and no case that's exclusively available to paying players. A free account can complete every case in the catalog; purchased credits only change how many sources you can afford to unlock without waiting for the next daily reset.
Pricing for Teams
There's no separate team or enterprise plan — each employee creates their own free individual account, and any team member who wants extra credits for a training session can purchase a package individually. See our security awareness training game page for more on running BREACH // NOIR with a group.

Is BREACH // NOIR really free?
Yes. Every case in the catalog is playable on a free account using your daily Intel Credit allowance. Purchased credits are entirely optional and only affect how quickly you can move through content in a single session.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Purchased credits are a permanent balance that never resets and never expires — they're only ever removed when you actually spend them.
What happens to unused daily credits?
Unused daily credits reset with the next day's refill rather than carrying forward — only purchased credits persist across resets.
Is there a subscription?
No. Credit packages are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions.
Can I earn credits without paying?
Yes — beyond the daily free allowance, the referral program grants permanent bonus credits for inviting others who go on to play.
